Last Thursday, December 11, the second edition of the Best Salesperson in France competition took place. This competition, organized by Salezeo and partnered by Incenteev, revealed who the best salespeople in France were.
1,200 sales professionals, divided into 5 different categories, competed for 6 months to win the Best Salesperson in France award.
We congratulate the 5 winners and present a profile of each of them.
Best Salesperson in France: Profiles of the Winners.
B2B Sales Category: Jordan Petot

Jordan Petot – Pomona Group
After 5 years working in a store, Jordan has now been traveling to meet catering professionals for 5 years. Seizing an opportunity 10 years ago, Jordan began his career as an IT salesperson to pay for his studies. Since then, he has become passionate about this profession, which, for him, remains above all a human-centered job.
This great enthusiast for the profession participated in the competition, first and foremost, to measure his performance, but also to “promote his sales profession.” Jordan is, of course, delighted to have won the Best Salesperson in France competition and attributes his success to “consistent work for 7 months, accompanied by strong personal pressure to progress and succeed”, but he confides that despite his newfound recognition, it’s important to stay grounded “today, sales excellence is learned and developed; it’s like a sport, you have to push yourself. You can no longer just distribute your products; you also have to support your clients, in a way, guide them by the hand to help them make the best choice”.
Junior Category: Amandine Gruson

Amandine Gruson – Cernay Environnement
Amandine has now been working as a business manager at Cernay Environnement, a waste management service provider, for 4 years. She chose this profession because “she needed to be in contact with people and wouldn’t have been able to stand sitting behind a screen all day.” Amandine decided to participate in the Best Salesperson in France competition out of a taste for challenge; having already participated in the Négociales competition 3 years ago, she enjoys the challenge and the stress that comes with it. For Amandine, a good salesperson is above all “a persistent and attentive person. Someone who enjoys meeting a client to sell them a good or service as much as following up with them for unpaid invoices.”
B2C Sales Category: Laurent Divet

Laurent Divet – E.Leclerc
For Laurent, sales is a true passion. He confides that as a Department Manager, “he empowers sales employees in large retail, who are too often considered mere logisticians, by teaching them merchandising techniques and how to calculate sensitivity indices.”
Inside Sales Category: Aimad Chaouki

Aimad Chaouki – MeilleursAgents.com
After 7 years as a field salesperson in various sectors (insurance, real estate, etc.), Aimad has now been an inside salesperson in real estate for almost 2 years. Naturally empathetic, someone who enjoys convincing and listening, he confides that he chose this profession because “it aligns well with my personality,” and because for him, “a good salesperson is an empathetic and attentive person.” Loving competition, Aimad participated in the Best Salesperson in France competition to assess his abilities. He is very proud to have won first place, which allows him to gain self-confidence and opens up many new opportunities within his company and elsewhere.
Indirect Sales Category: Serge Fuchs

Serge Fuchs – Anima
Having worked as a salesperson for over 18 years, Serge decided about 5 years ago to join a company specializing in the design, development, and distribution of plush toys, targeting a premium, high-end market. As a sales manager, he notably develops and manages various distribution channels in the German, Swiss, and Austrian markets. This enthusiast confides that “career choices are often made based on passion, expertise, and personality. I’ve always loved human contact, and being very dynamic by nature, I naturally gravitated towards sales training.” Loving challenges, confronting competitors, and facing a professional jury allowed him to question himself, evaluate, and analyze his skills. “To register is to dare, and for me, to dare is to succeed.”
Winning this title brings Serge the reward for over 18 years of personal commitment and reinforces his desire to continue representing and promoting the values of the sales profession. Convinced that the Best Salesperson in France title will be a real springboard for him, Serge states “one thing is certain, 2015 will be Serge Fuchs’ professional year.”
In summary, here are some of the great qualities found in these excellent salespeople:
- empathy, curiosity, and attentiveness
- a taste for challenge and the unknown
- creativity
- energy and tenacity
- assertiveness
- humility
Keep this in mind for your future hiring.
Your salespeople can also become Best Salesperson in France in 2015 thanks to Incenteev! :)
